You know what you want to say. You know how you're feeling. But turning it into spoken words feels impossible.

Maybe you're overwhelmed.
Maybe you're exhausted.
Maybe your brain has simply decided that talking isn't happening today.

That's okay.

The My Words Are Working Today Hoodie is designed to communicate that without requiring you to explain.

The front simply says:

MY WORDS AREN'T WORKING TODAY.

And on the side:

PLEASE GIVE ME TIME.

A quiet reminder for the people around you that you may need a little patience, a little space, or simply more time to communicate in your own way.

And because sometimes communication isn't the only thing you need...

the hood offers somewhere to retreat when you need a little extra comfort.

Pull it up. Take a breath. Give yourself some time.

You don't have to force the words.

Because being unable to speak doesn't mean you have nothing to say.

Why we made it

This hoodie was created after someone got in touch to ask if we could make a hoodie version of our My Words Aren't Working Today sweatshirt because the hood offered their daughter an extra sense of comfort.

So we listened.

That's something we want Muted Mayhem to keep doing — creating clothing around the things people actually need, including the things they might struggle to say out loud.

This one is for the quiet days.
